Okay, today was a crazy and challenging ride. We set out for Kenton and ended up in Three Lakes. We ended up riding 81 miles, over which there were a lot of hills. Taylor was a tiny bit grumpy when we found out that our plan C was a no go. No one wanted plan D, but alas, it happened.
Plan A was to get a room at the one motel in kenton only to find out it was all sold out (motel only had 5 rooms), Plan B was to camp at King Lake Campground, but it was closed to campers, plan C was parent lake, didn't happen. Plan D was Beaufort, where we are now at a very nice campground.
In the end, we all ended up enjoying a lovely night in Beaufort. The camp ground was lovely, and cheap. And we are now about a whole day ahead of schedule!
