Woke up a little tired so peddled a bit slower today. Made it to the Draper School campground, pictures below.... set up behind the restroom facility which had no running water. very very BUGGY & SMELLY!

Day 3. Ride from Amery to Birchwood, Wisconsin
Beautiful weather for riding. We went 63 miles today, it was a really tough, the trail the map brought us too and was not ideal for road bikes, tons of long grass and loose dirt, it felt like riding through mud. Also, a lot of dirt roads which were really tough.

Day 2. Started the bike ride in Stillwater, MN.
After 24 hours of driving they are ready to start the bike portion. Already feeling ambitious they have decided to double up todays drive and try and get to the Port Valhalla Campground.

Day 1. Depart Greenville, RI on an expected 21 hour drive to Stillwater, Minnesota
Today starts Papa Howie's final piece of his 'Around the United States' bike ride. It has been a journey that has spanned several years. Over the next 30+/- days papa Howie, Thomas and Taylor will bike approximately 1,600 miles from Minnesota, through Canada and finish in Rhode Island. Tommy, Todd and Nick will be meeting up with them in Maine and finishing the ride all together. EPIC!
